The champion is still the champion of our nation, “the eagle” has won and successfully defended his WBF title again.

The Albanian famous boxer Kreshnik Qato “the eagle” wins his long-awaited fight with the Argentine boxer Esteban Ponce and defends his title as a world champion in boxing WBF version. The world champion won with points against Ponces after 12 rounds, held in the arena of "Asllan Rusia. Qato, whose promoter is Mr. Ylli Ndroqi, has had a great match before his loyal supporters he has been once again reaffirmed that it fully deserves the belt, which has advocated for the fourth time.

In the arena of sport "Asllan Rusia” created a spectacular atmosphere, where thousands of supporters packed the arena, where they all were shouting “ o kreshnik o hero gjith Shqiperia ty te do” Qato raised his game, among the thousands of fans there were many dignitaries and VIP guests. Present were Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ilir Meta, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Ferdinand Xhaferri, former President of the Republic of Albania Alfred Moisiu, and others. The match was broadcast LIVE on radio and televisions in Albania Ora News and national television Klan.

The 2nd of May is approaching and we hope you all are ready to show your support for the eagle, in Tirana.

We do apologies for not updating the web with the news about the latest fight, but we have great news the champ did it once again he won, and made us all proud.

The Albanian Champ Qato won once again in London on the 21 of March 2010, surrounded by hundred’s of supports all screaming “o kreshnik o hero gjith Shqiperia ty te do” the eagle showed what he made of, and won.

The fight lasted 6 rounds and the opponent Alex Spikto from Latvia who lives in England, was a tough opponent but Qato showed his calmness and determination to win. Qatos record keeps growing, which on Sunday was his 22-nd win.

Qato once again a World Champion!

The champion Kreshnik Qato (21-6, 4 Kos) defends for the second time his belt of the world champion WBF. In his duel on Saturday night in the “Anhalt Arena” in the German city of Dessau the Albanian champion has put under his belt another win and a great performance, against the Italian Fabio Liggieri (10-3-4, 2 Kos). The fight went on for whole 12 rounds, after which Qato was declared the winner by unanimous decision by the judges with the score 115–113, 115-112, 116-112.

As you can see from the scores of the judges Qato has had a difficult job against the Italian Liggieri. But the main factor is that Qato once again managed to win another battle, which could open the doors to fight for the higher belts of the professional boxing.

The win against Liggieri was the 21st win in Qatos career and the 16th on the row. It has been five years now that Qato hasn’t tasted a loss in his professional career. The duel in the city of Dessau was fierce, but as usual Qato dominated the vast amount of the 12 rounds.

The champion Qato had won his last fight against the Hungarian Zoltan Surman and continuous his winning rime. The Eagle has had massive support from thousands of Albanians that live and work in Germany, after the win Qato declared that his winning is down to the support that he gets from the Albanians, and that he is now ready to fight for the higher weights for another world title. The main sponsor of Qato Ylli Ndroqi said that has declared same as Qato that this is win is for all the Albanians and that the eagle is ready for another title. Qatos win has drowned a lot of attention on the Albanian media all over the world.

Great news Qato wins by nock out on the third round against the Hungarian Zoltan Zurman. Qato dominatet the whole fight, and he was never under any pressure from Zurman .
